Today the representative of the Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan said at the briefing held at the Armenian Unified InfoCenter:
"Since early morning the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, together with terrorist groups, have continued their offensive operations along almost the entire front. The intensity of the battles was not very high, but in some directions intensive offensive operations took place. In particular, by throwing a large number of infantry and armored vehicles in one or two positions in the central direction, using artillery, at the same time shelling the town of Martuni, the Azerbaijani armed forces managed to make some progress.
On the contrary, in the battles in the southern and southeastern directions, our armed forces managed to take back some positions from the enemy and ensure progress", Havhannisyan said, adding that the fighting is still going on, although the intensity is low.
