The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayramov took place in Geneva on October 30. with the participation of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Stefan Visconti (France), Andrew Chaffer (USA), and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk. "During the meeting it was discussed Issues related to the implementation of the joint statement adopted in Moscow on October 10, in particular, the steps to be taken to cease fire.
The Minister Mnatsakanyan stressed the need for unconditional implementation of the ceasefire agreements reached through the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries - Russia, France and the United States. Mnatsakanyan emphasized the role of verification mechanisms in establishing and maintaining the ceasefire.
The RA Foreign Minister particularly emphasized the inadmissibility of the deliberate targeting of the civilian population of Artsakhcivil infrastructure.
During the meeting the parties reaffirmed the continuation of the peace process exclusively within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
