"In response to media questions, I would like to inform you that during the meeting on October 20, the second and third presidents of the NKR Arkady Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan informed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that the first and second presidents of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Kocharyan want to leave for Moscow.
Former RA presidents want to discuss the situation of Nagorno-Karabakh with representatives of the Russian elite thus hoping to find certain solutions to offer to the Armenian government.
The resigned NKR presidents suggested the results of the possible visit to be discussed during the meeting of the current and former NKR leaders of Armenia. The Prime Minister Pashinyan agreed with the proposal, emphasizing that there can be no obstacle in the way of any possible step for the good of Armenia and Artsakh.
According to our information, the resigned presidents haven’t left Armenia yet. In any case, the Prime Minister and the government are open to proposals for resolving the situation and have never refused to discuss such proposals’’, said Mane Gevorgyan, the RA Prime Minister's spokesperson.
It should be reminded that on October 21 the meeting of former presidents of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan, and former presidents of Artsakh, Arkady Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan took place.
