On October 30 a regular political consultations were held between foreign ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Armenian delegation was led by Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan, and the Iranian delegation was led by Iran’s Deputy FM for Political Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
The consultations covered numerous items of the Armenian-Iranian bilateral political agenda. The participants dealt with the bilateral economic agenda and exchanged ideas over other important issues of mutual interest. The sides were highly committed to ensuring continuity of bilateral political consultations”, the foreign ministry said.
