The Russian Federation has expressed grave concern over the deaths of civilians in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing today.
"We are deeply concerned that civilians are being killed on both sides", Zakharova said, adding that Moscow had sought a ceasefire from the very beginning and move the situation to the negotiating table.
She reminded that the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are scheduled to meet with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in Geneva tomorrow. The agenda also includes issues related to international humanitarian law and the October 10 agreements reached in Moscow.
