The Artsakh Defense Army reports that the enemy continued to fire on the peaceful settlements of the Artsakh Republic during the day.
In particular, Shushi and Stepanakert were shelled by enemy forces with "Smerch" volley fire complexes, as a result of which great damage was done to the capital's maternity hospital and the civilian infrastructure of the two cities. There is one killed and, several wounded among the civilian population.
As a result of the adequate actions of the Defense Army, the enemy's deep firing points were silenced.
"The Ministry of Defense of the Artsakh Republic calls on the adversary to adhere to the agreements reached on the humanitarian ceasefire, otherwise an adequate response will not wait long", the statement reads.
