The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkisian sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, on the occasion of the country's national holiday - Statehood Day.
Pointing out the importance of the development of mutually beneficial relations with the Czech Republic and the mutual trust between the two countries, President Armen Sarkissian expressed readiness to continue the constructive dialogue.
The President of the Republic also referred to the large-scale military aggression of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh, which has been going on for a month and the involvement of Turkey in it.
"We highly value the resolution adopted by the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, condemning the involvement of third party governments and the transfer of individual militants from other territories to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
"Today, at this hard time for Armenia and Artsakh, when our people are fighting for life, freedom and Homeland, I am confident that friendly Czech Republic stands by us", President Sarkissian said in his congratulatory message.
