"I am sure that both Russia and the United States, also France understand that today Armenia is the gate, the fortress that stands against international terrorism, which is a threat not only to Armenia but to the whole world", said the NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan during the talk with the journalists in the parliament.
And in order to apply to the CSTO, according to the NA Deputy Speaker, we must be sure that those actions are enough for an appropriate response.
"Decisions in the CSTO are made by consensus logic, that is, in case we see that there are undeniable facts that will be difficult to question within the framework of the CSTO discussion, the step will be taken. This will be done when we are sure that the application will get a positive response. We do not need it today. But in case of danger on the borders of Armenia, I assure you, our partners and allies will not allow the situation to deepen", Simonyan said.
