Armenians in Paris took the streets yesterday, calling on the French authorities to recognize the independence of the Artsakh Republic.
According to Murad Papazian, co-chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France, the recall by Emmanuel Macron of the French ambassador to Turkey, after the Turkish president's rude remarks to the French president, was a classic step, while France should make clear demands on Turkey and Turkey should be punished.
Jean-Michel Ekerian, a volunteer doctor who visited Artsakh, also took part in the rally. He confirmed that in Martuni, Azerbaijan had used banned weapons not only against soldiers but also against civilians.
And the co-chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France Murad Papazyan assured that the public opinion in France has changed towards the Armenian position.
