"By the time the ceasefire was to take effect, it was already clear that Azerbaijan was not going to abide the agreement," Defense Army spokesman Suren Sarumyan told "Lurer".
At around 08:00 in the morning, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a statement that the Armenian side had violated the ceasefire, but realizing that they were in a hurry, deleted the note. Another post, which again spoke of the Armenian side violating the ceasefire, appeared a few minutes later.
"During the day, military aircraft was used in the direction of Martuni region, in the afternoon large-scale battles took place in the southeastern direction. All weapons, all units with aviation support are used. Our fighters of the Defense Army are able to repel the attacks successfully.
Large-scale military operations are currently underway there. We can say that the third attempt at a ceasefire also failed", Sarumyan said.
