The Armenian community of France is holding a demonstration in Paris, which is attended by about 20,000 people.
In a conversation with "Lurer" correspondent, the chairman of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France, member of the ARF Bureau Murad Papazyan noted that the aim of the action is to once again call on France to recognize the independence of Artsakh.
"Turkey and Azerbaijan want to annihilate the population of Artsakh, gain control of Artsakh, as well as the south of Armenia. If we do not want a new tragedy to happen, it is time for France and the international community to respond appropriately to what is happening", he said.
Referring to the decision to recall the French ambassador to Turkey, Papazyan said that it was an insufficient step. "Erdogan must be punished, the Turkish president has no right to talk like that with France and the French president", he said.
According to Murad Papazyan, France must demand Turkey withdraw from NATO, as well as suspend Turkey's EU membership talks.
