The Colonel Arshavir Ghulyan was awarded the Order of the Battle Cross of the 1st degree for carrying out precise and planned artillery work with high skill during the hostilities, due to which a large number of enemy forces were defeated.
Similar state award was presented to Lieutenant Colonel Manuk Melkonyan for heroically defending the positions of his forces in the south-eastern direction. This was reported by the Defense Army.
"Senior Sergeant Arman Nersisyan, Private Narek Avagyan and Private Artyom Adamyan will be awarded "For Courage" medals for destroying one enemy tank and other effective actions.
Contract sergeant Karen Patyan was nominated for the "For Courage" medal for evacuating wounded servicemen in an ambulance under enemy fire.
Senior Sergeant Avag Minasyan, Private Smbat Arakelyan, Sergeant Mher Aghajanyan, Junior Sergeant Sevak Margaryan and Sergeant Samvel Lalabekyan will be awarded "Combat Service" medals by the President for destroying enemy artillery points and columns", the message reads.
