The head of the Armenian National Committee of America Aram Hamparian gave an exclusive interview to Insider, in which he stated that it is not fair to call the crisis in Nagorno Karabakh just a conflict between the parties.
Hamparian said that Azerbaijan is the party that does not accept the status quo: the Azerbaijani side is a destructive force whose motive is to change the status quo.
The head of the Armenian National Committee believes that the United States should play a more active role in resolving this conflict.
"The United States must act like the United States and do everything it can to ease tensions, but the opposite is happening. This administration has taken the position of not interfering. They are irresponsible in terms of intervening, even when Armenian civilians are being killed left and right", the Armenian National Committee of America wrote on its Facebook page.
