Frank Pallone, Co-Chair of the Armenian Affairs Committee of the United States Congress, co-authored, with 31 collegues, a resolution, which proposes recognizing the independence of the Artsakh Republic. The document subitted to the US House of Representatives. This was reported by the Armenian National Committee of America.
"Frank Pallone has submitted a powerful resolution to the US House of Representatives calling for the official recognition of the independence of the Artsakh Republic," the statement said.
"It is very important that the House of Representatives sends a strong message in support of the aspirations of Artsakh and its people for independence, especially on the eve of Secretary Pompeo's important meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan", Pallone said.
