Moscow is doing everything possible to put the situation in Nagorno Karabakh on a political and diplomatic path. Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian president, told reporters that there was no alternative to a peaceful settlement, RIA Novosti reported.
"Russia has done and is doing everything possible to put the current situation on the path to a political and diplomatic settlement. As before, we are convinced that there is no alternative to a peaceful settlement of this issue", said Dmitry Peskov.
He stressed that Russia intends to make every effort for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the near future.
According to the press secretary of the Russian president, the Kremlin regrets that Armenia and Azerbaijan still do not abide by the Moscow agreement reached on the Nagorno Karabakh issue.
