Aleksey Kuznetsov, assistant to the Russian Minister of Health, announced that Yuri Kotenok, a Russian journalist who had been injured on October 8 in Shushi is now in stable condition.
Kotenok was on-site at the Holy Savior Ghazanchetsots Cathedral in Shushi on October 8, when the cultural icon came under a second rocket attack on the same day. He was in a coma until October 10, and being cared for in Yerevan.
Two colleagues, Levon Arzanov and Hrant Badalyan, had also been with him and had been transferred to Russia but Kotenok's condition was too severe at the time. As his situation had improved, there are no more contraindications to his safe transfer to Moscow, according to Kuznetsov.
