"The RA Minister of Foreign Affairs is currently in Moscow. We received information that today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan also went to Moscow. I expect that the agreement on the October 10 ceasefire mediated by Russia and then the humanitarian ceasefire through the mediation of the President of France will be reached. I have no other expectations from that meeting".
The head of the NA "Bright Armenia" faction Edmon Marukyan said that at the briefing with journalists.
"Russia has a positive responsibility to enforce this agreement. There are all legal grounds to use force. It is about committing any anti-terrorist act. Hitting terrorists is considered a legitimate target, and in this regard, all the legal grounds have been established by Russia in the last 20 days to carry out such an operation. Therefore, I think we should work in that direction", the MP said.
According to Marukyan, as long as there is no humanitarian ceasefire, the Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting will not take place. Touching upon the working visit of the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian to Brussels, the deputy highlighted the imprtance of it, emphasizing that perhaps the visit should have been organized earlier in order to make the assessments of the international community more targeted and objective.
