On October 18, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Artashes Tumanyan met with Seyed Mahdi Farshadan, Member of the Majlis of IRI, chair of the Iran-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties in the development of Armenian-Iranian relations.
Artashes Tumanyan briefed Seyed Mahdi Farshadan on the large-scale military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh and Armenia, the participation of Turkey and the latter’s involvement of terrorist groups in them, emphasizing the need for immediate intervention by the international community.
