The newspaper quotes Erdogan's confession that he is by Azerbaijan's side in all respects. These words are accompanied by substantive support", wrote columnist David Phillips, referring to joint Turkish-Azerbaijani military exercises prior to the attack.
Referring to Reuters, the author writes: "Turkish arms sales to Azerbaijan increased from $ 1 million in July to $ 33 million in August and $ 77 million in September. The explanation for all this is Erdogan's aspirations to restore the Ottoman Empire".
