Work to prepare the RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan's visit to Washington is underway, Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the United States told the "Hill".
"The visit and meeting with Secretary of State Michael Pompeo is expected to take place this month", the media reported, noting that the meeting is planned in the spirit of the US-Armenia annual strategic dialogue but it acquires a new urgency in the context of escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Ambassador Nersesyan noted that the details of the visit will be officially announced by the Armenian Foreign Ministry and the US State Department.
