According to Arab sources, there is panic among militants taking part in hostilities from Azerbaijani side, independent journalist Lindsey Snell wrote on her Twitter page. According to her, 250 militants of the "Sultan Murad" terrorist unit were expelled from the group, who refused to leave for Azerbaijan.
The journalist reports that 1000 militants were sent from Hamza's division, about 300 of whom returned, many of them died. Hamza's remains desperately try to return, but are not allowed to do so. Those who managed to return reported that the Azerbaijani army was nearby but did not fight, posing more than 200 meters behind the Syrians. In other words, according to the Syrian militants, Azerbaijan uses the Syrians as a human shield.
