The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on October 16, a total of 61,460 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 47,541 have recovered and 1056 are fatal. At present 12,549 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 340,116 tests have been performed.
On October 16, 1465 new positive cases have been registered, 422 have recovered, 10 deaths (men 60, 76, 68, 86, 60 women 83, 86, 93, 73, 73). All of them had side chronical diseases. 4,005 tests have been performed yesterday.
3 deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 314.
