Today, the Prime Minister had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. Nikol Pashinyan provided details on the ongoing hostilities in Artsakh and the general situation in the region. He drew the interlocutor's attention to Turkey's destructive involvement in hostilities and that country's unacceptable aspirations to establish itself in the South Caucasus.
The RA Prime Minister thanked Trudeau for suspending the export of military goods to Turkey. He stressed the fundamental importance of the continuous exercise of the right of nations to self-determination in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
The Prime Minister of Canada expressed deep concern over the situation and stressed the need for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
