However, according to Harutyunyan, the director of Russia's foreign intelligence service stated that there are such forces in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. According to Harutyunyan, there are audio recordings and videos, but the opponent is still trying to deny it.
The Adviser to the Prime Minister said that Azerbaijan began its collaboration with terrorists in 1992-94, showing a document signed by the Chief of General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Najmeddin Sadikov. According to the document, 520 people were involved in the hostilities.
"Attracting mercenaries is a threat not only to Karabakh or Armenia, but also to the countries of the whole region", Harutyunyan said.
