The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has issued another statement regarding the transportation of military cargo through its territory, "Alik Media" reports.
"Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia has responded to the misinformation spread in a number of media outlets about the shipment of military cargo to neighboring republics through Georgia.
Lasha Darsalia explained that immediately after the escalation of the Karabakh conflict, the transit of military cargo to both Azerbaijan and Armenia was stopped.
According to the information available to Georgia the flights in the airspace are of humanitarian and civil nature, in accordance with ICAO standards", the Georgian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
