The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) hopes that the conflicting parties will abide by the ceasefire agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh. The statement came from the Martin Schuepp, ICRC Eurasia Regional Director, at a briefing in Geneva, TASS reports.
"We hope that the humanitarian agreement on the ceasefire will be observed, which will bring significant relief to all victims", said Martin Schuepp, adding:
"The Red Cross is ready to facilitate the exchange of the bodies of victims, as well as the release of the captives, but the parties must agree on a format. The Red Cross continues to discuss the proposals with the parties".
