The RA Prime Minister had closed-door meetings with representatives of both parliamentary and extra-parliamentary political forces, ambassadors, and presented the situation in Artsakh. This was told by the NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan in a talk with journalists.
He said that in the near future the Prime Minister will address the public and provide information on the situation. He did not specify whether it would be in a message or another format. "We have said that we will be open with the public and provide all the information, as there are many fakes, the Turks are actively working on the Internet, our society must receive accurate information", the NA Vice Speaker emphasized.
He assured that today the relations between Armenia and Russia are at the highest level, there is a sober assessment of the situation, there is mutual understanding with all partners, including Russia.
Touching upon the issue of Artsakh recognition, Simonyan said that first of all the expediency, technical implementation and consequences of recognition should be perceived. "It is an important issue for all of us, we raise it at all levels so that not only Armenia but the whole world recognizes Artsakh", he said.
Simonyan stressed that at this stage the priority is to stop the large-scale attack and move on to the implementation of the rest of the items. The NA Deputy Speaker also mentioned that the issue of peacekeepers was not discussed at the official level.
