Early this morning the Azerbaijani Armed Forces began hostilities, said Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the RA Ministry of Defense. According to him, Azerbaijan has not fulfilled the agreements reached in Moscow. Hovannisian stressed that the statements of the Azerbaijani leadership that they were ready to fulfill the agreements are completely false.
"Early in the morning the offensive operations started in 3-4 directions. Also heavy artillery was used in the direction of Martakert. Throughout the day the Azerbaijani Air Force, with the reconnaissance support of the Turkish Air Force, using a variety of combat drones, carried out 36 combat flights, during which our anti-aircraft forces managed to hit one SU-25 attacker in the northern direction", Hovhannisyan said.
He informed that during the day the military operations continued in the southern direction as well. Hovannisian also referred to the subversive actions in the direction of Hadrut, which were stopped by the Armenian side, enemy was pushed back. "The town of Hadrut is under the full control of our armed forces", the representative of the RA Ministry of Defense stressed.
