Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow. One of the key topics of the dialogue is the situation caused by the Azerbaijani military aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov referred to the meeting held in Moscow between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on the initiative of the Russian President and the humanitarian ceasefire agreement reached during it.
"The agreement reached on October 10 in the tripartite format has not been fully implemented yet," he said. Lavrov also spoke about the Armenian-Russian bilateral relations and integration processes.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan thanked and noted that he highly appreciate the contribution of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Russia to the reduction of tension. Mnatsakanyan said that despite the ceasefire agreement reached, Azerbaijan is not fulfilling its obligation and continues hostilities, moreover, against the civilian population.
Mnatsakanyan also spoke about Turkey's participation in hostilities and the involvement of terrorists hired from Syria. "We need to end hostilities today. Russia's role in this matter remains extremely important. Unfortunately, at this moment we cannot state that the ceasefire is practically completed", he said.
