During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone following the trilateral talks held in Moscow on October 9-10. The need for the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan to strictly implement all the provisions of the October 10 joint statement was stressed.
The Russian side reaffirmed its readiness to continue active mediation efforts for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, taking into account the provisions of the Moscow statement.
