Israeli scholars have sent a letter to the Israeli government demanding an end to arms sales to Azerbaijan.
Caucasus experts expressed concern over the situation in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh), stressing that the analysis shows that the attacker is Azerbaijan, and that Azerbaijan's aggression is supported by Turkey and mercenaries transported from the region.
The statement says that Azerbaijan is bombing the civilian settlements of Artsakh, and this should be condemned immediately. The response of Artsakh and Armenia is exclusively to protect the civilian population and should enjoy the support of any state that respects the principle of self-determination of nations", the scholars state.
Israeli scholers have called for an immediate end to Azerbaijani aggression and clarification of the weapons’ sale to Azerbaijan by Jews who have survived a genocide.
