Azerbaijan is committing genocide against the people of Artsakh, which has been joined by Turkey and international terrorists. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan stated this at a press conference, adding that international terrorism has penetrated the region under the policy pursued by Azerbaijan. "They do it openly, and we have clear information that those groups are in Artsakh or are going to come to Artsakh," A. Harutyunian emphasized.
He noted that Azerbaijan uses various missile weapons, and according to him, there is no place in Stepanakert where missiles have not exploded.
"St. Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi, where there are no military facilities, has been shelled several times. The process of annihilation of the civilian population is underway, and after that they want Artsakh to agree to their demands, it will not happen.
"Artsakh is exercising its right to self-defense with the participation of Armenia. Atsakh will not be part of Azerbaijan. The right of the people of Artsakh to live on their own land is internationally recognized," the Artsakh President stated. He mentioned that they are in constant contact with the RA Prime Minister, the RA authorities, they are informed about all the problems, there is no issue that will not be solved.
"I do not want to say for sure what the behavior of Azerbaijan, Turkey and the terrorists will be, how much they will respect the Russian mediation, the call of the international community to go for a humanitarian ceasefire. And if in the coming days Azerbaijan does not resolve the issue peacefully, I will turn to Armenia and other countries for the recognition of Artsakh's independence. And the world will see a list of countries that support terrorism. They need to be listed, and the society of those countries needs to know the behavior of their government.
