At the enlarged sitting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council the RF Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin referred to the hostilities in Karabakh, emphasizing the need to stop them immediately.
"I would like to express my condolences to the relatives and friends of all the victims these days. We mourn all those who lost their loved ones in this conflict. And, of course, it is possible to ensure the immediate cessation of all hostilities, to move to a diplomatic settlement of the conflict. Russia is ready to contribute to this, together with the other OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs", Mishustin said in his speech.
He spoke about the expansion of the Eurasian integration markets, noting that times are unusual: the global economic crisis due to the coronavirus, the tense political situation in Belarus, the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh and dramatic events in Kyrgyzstan.
"In this situation it is necessary to strengthen our consolidation to find the answers to these not simple questions through joint efforts", he said.
