The situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone was stable and tense during the night, Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.
"Early in the morning at about 08:30 the enemy attempted to attack in the southern direction, but losing three units of military equipment and leaving more than 20 dead and wounded, escaped from the outskirts of Jebrail with a battalion", Stepanyan wrote.
