Today the NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.
"While discussing the situation in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh), we stressed the high level of Armenian-Russian relations, identical approaches in terms of stability and security in the region. Highlighting Russia's role both as a co-chair of the Minsk Group and as a key player in ensuring security in the region and taking into account the friendly relations between our countries and the close contacts of the leaders we agreed to be in constant touch at this stage", Simonyan said.
