The representative of the RA Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan told reporters that the enemy was hit hard by artillery.
According to Hovhannisyan, it can be said that three brigades with almost all their offensive potential, armored vehicles and personnel were defeated. About 60 bodies were left in the field.
Earlier we reported that during the night the enemy tried to adbance in the southeastern direction but they were hit by the artillery fire of the Armenian Armed Forces.
"Unfortunately, Stepanakert is being shelled at the moment, civilians are being hit by combat drones and missiles. The Defense Army is also successful in the northern direction, it has liberated positions", Hovhannisyan said.
He also said that the Iranian border is in danger. "As has traditionally been the case, when you crush, they flee to Iran. We are very glad that Iran is well aware and takes appropriate steps, not only political", Hovhannisyan noted.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense said that at the moment the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively calm, there are no active hostilities.
