On October 6, the enemy used the relative calm following the statement by the Foreign Ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries to regroup and move north and south of the front. This is stated in the message of the Artsakh Defense Army.
"The enemy's actions also posed a threat to the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Defense Army fighters neutralized all the attempts of the Azerbaijani armed forces to advance with strong counterattacks.
During the fighting, a large number of troops, armored vehicles, artillery and other weapons were destroyed.
The Defense Army units also managed to significantly improve their own tactics. During the night, the enemy also tried to advance in the south-eastern direction.
Enemy attacking units were destroyed by rocket fire. At around 06:30 in the morning, another missile strike attack by the Defense Army units led to the demoralization of the enemy group and a panicked escape. The enemy left more than 60 casualties on the battlefield, several dozen wounded and equipment. The enemy's large fuel depot was also destroyed.
The Defense Army is confident in the operative-tactical situation and is ready for any development" the statement reads.
