I am confident that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and, of course, first and foremost Russia, will play an important role in ensuring peace in the region. The deputy of the NA "My Step" faction Ruben Rubinyan mentioned this during the briefing with the journalists in the parliament.
Touching upon the joint call of the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, Rubinyan noted that the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded positively to it.
"Yesterday the call of the foreign ministers of the co-chairing countries was sounded, and I think we should wait for the response of the Azerbaijani side. It is relatively stable now, but we must understand that this is a patriotic war, in which we must stand until the end", Rubinyan said.
The MP also referred to the telephone conversations of the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
"We are confident that our friends, first of all Russia, will play their stabilizing role in this region", Rubinyan said.
