The damages of the agricultural machinery and orchards owned by residents of border communities will be compensated, a bill adopted by the National Assembly.
The Parliament in the second reading with 100 votes fully adopted the draft amendments to the Law on Social Assistance to Border Communities. Accordingly, it is proposed to extend the validity of the law on social assistance provided to residents of border communities for another 3 years, in addition, to establish new benefits.
It has been established that the material damage caused to agricultural animals, agricultural machinery and orchards as a result of military or terrorist acts carried out from the territory of Azerbaijan is subject to compensation at the expense of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia. In other words, any damage to the agricultural sector will be compensated.
