Artsakh Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan referred to today's shelling of Stepanakert. According to him 1 person was killed and 4 others were injured in the rocket attacks on Stepanakert in the evening.
According to Beglaryan, 2 residential buildings in Stepanakert were seriously damaged. Fortunately, there were few people in the buildings at that time, so the number of injured is less.
"It is clear that the strike was deliberately targeted, given the degree of accuracy of the missiles. There are 7 wounded among the civilian population and service personnel. Some of the injured are in critical condition. It is important to emphasize that Azerbaijan has purposefully targeted a structure carrying out humanitarian functions", Beglaryan said.
He also reminded of the shelling of the Emergency Situations building. Beglaryan described the incident as a gross violation of international humanitarian law. "This is a clear war crime committed by Azerbaijan", Beglaryan said.
