The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had another telephone conversation with French President Emanuel Macron.
The interlocutors discussed the situation in Nagorno Karabakh and the developments in the conflict zone.
The Prime Minister thanked France for its principled and constructive position on the inadmissibility of unleashing the war. The parties considered inadmissible the involvement of foreign terrorist militants in hostilities.
The French President stressed the importance of an immediate cessation of hostilities and the resumption of the peace process, in accordance with the October 1 statement of the Presidents of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
Prime Minister Pashinyan considered unacceptable the penetration of Turkish-sponsored terrorists into the region, emphasizing that without the withdrawal of these destabilizing forces, it is impossible to restore regional security. In the context of establishing peace, Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of close cooperation between the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs countries.
