The villages of Shatvan and Mets Masrik in Gegharkunik region were attacked by artillery. One civilian was killed and two civilians were injured. This information was also presented separately to the RA Human Rights Defender.
One of the civilians informed the Human Rights Defender that the drones hit two residential houses, burning them. "It is strongly condemnable that the strikes were carried out on residential houses and at night, when people are confidently at home, and in many cases, already asleep. These are gross violations of international humanitarian law.
"Shatvan is the village where drones appeared over the head of the working group members, headed by the Human Rights Defender , due to which they had to stop yesterday's fact-finding work", the ombudsman's office reported.
