The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on October 2, a total of 51,382 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 44,406 have recovered and 966 are fatal. At present 5,709 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 300,224 tests have been performed.
On October 2, 532 new positive cases have been registered, 187 have recovered, 3 deaths (men 69, 102 woman 66). All of them had side chronical diseases. 3897 tests have been performed yesterday.
3 deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 301.
