A telephone conversation took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The interlocutors continued to discuss the situation in Nagorno Karabakh and expressed deep concern over the ongoing hostilities. They also expressed concern over the involvement of foreign militants and illegal groups in the Middle East in conflict.
The RA Prime Minister once again drew attention to the highly destabilizing behavior of Turkey and the fact of intervening in hostilities. The Russian side stressed the importance of an immediate cessation of hostilities and the resumption of the peace process, according to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs October 1 announcement.
An agreement was reached to continue contacts.
