Maria Zakharova, the Official Representative of Foreign Ministry of Russian Federation, during a briefing referred to the developments in Nagorno-Karabakh situation.
She stated that Russian authorities are worried on the tensions in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, as a result of which there is serious damage to both military and civilian infrastructure.
“There are victims in both sides and also in civic population. We call for maximum restraint and stopping the bloodshed. Our condolences to the relatives of the victims and injured”, told Zakharova.
She emphasized that there is no military solution to this conflict, and the issue must be solved by the political and diplomatic means.
