For the first time since the start of hostilities on the line of contact with Artsakh on September 27, relative calm was maintained along the entire frontline tonight, except for a few skirmishes.
Vahram Poghosyan, spokesman for the Artsakh President, said this during a briefing, adding that although it was relatively calm, the war continues.
Poghosyan presented some information provided by the intelligence. According to him, most of the Azerbaijani victims these days were members of national minorities.
"Only 148 Lezgian soldiers were killed in one direction, many Talysh servicemen are among the killed, which caused serious dissatisfaction among the minorities living in Azerbaijan, and in the near future, according to our intelligence, a protest action is expected in Azerbaijan", Poghosyan said, adding: Azerbaijan is also carrying out provocative actions against national minorities living in its country.
According to Vahram Poghosyan, such a policy of ethnic cleansing was implemented towards the Armenians of Artsakh in Soviet Azerbaijan.
