The RA Ministry of Defense has already informed that Azerbaijan has handed over the air command of the offensive operation against Artsakh to the Turkish Air Force.
During the briefing, the representative of the RA Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan once again mentioned that 2 F-16 fighter jets of the Turkish Air Force flying from Kurdamir, as well as SU-25 attackers of the Azerbaijani Air Force, "Bayraktar" reconnaissance drone, fired rockets at high altitudes in Artsakh. The settlements of Hadrut and Martuni regions were hit.
He noted that the air force operates under the control of the Turkish E7-T remote air command point from the Erzurum-Kars section. It is possible that the leadership of the Turkish Air Force is on the plane.
Hovhannisyan said that as a result of the strikes, civilians were injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged. "Heavy fighting continued throughout the day in the northern and southern directions. Our troops repulsed the enemy's rather modified military attacks. Within 24 hours, the enemy lost 130 servicemen, 200 were wounded, 29 tanks and armored vehicles, 3 TOS, 1 Smerch, 11 drones were destroyed", the Defense Ministry representative said.
According to him, the enemy is constantly trying to carry out operations, but the Armenian army gives a worthy counterattack. Hovannisian also urged citizens active in the social sphere not to spread information of the Azerbaijani media.
