On September 30, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation, the RA Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan reports.
"The Foreign Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed his Russian counterpart on the latest developments in the situation created by Azerbaijan's aggression along the line of contact with Artsakh.
In this context, Minister Mnatsakanyan strongly condemned Turkey's direct military-political and military-technical involvement in the hostilities carried out by Azerbaijan both on the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan and on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
The Minister Mnatsakanyan also expressed concern over the recruitment of foreign armed terrorists by Turkey, its transfer to Azerbaijan and involvement in hostilities.
"Both sides assessed as unacceptable the steps taken by extra-regional countries to disrupt regional peace and security", Naghdalyan wrote.
