During a briefing today, Artsrun Hovhannisyan referred to the involvement of Turkish fighter jets in the recent hostilities.
"On August 13-14, when the military exercises in Azerbaijan ended, but the fighter jets were not removed from Azerbaijan, the RA Ministry of Defense raised the issue with the relevant bodies. As for the fact that Azerbaijan is trying hard not to accept all this, claiming that their air force does not have F16, we know very well what is in their air force. We also know very well that the fighter jets in their ranks can not do their job properly, that's why the F16s are there" Hovhannisyan said, adding that the Armenian side has intelligence evidence.
Hovhannisyan recalled the words of the President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan that a few days ago F-16s were conducting reconnaissance flights.
