In an interview with the British BBC, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called on the international community to condemn the aggression of Turkey and Azerbaijan against Artsakh and Armenia.
"Azerbaijani forces have launched large-scale military operations along the entire line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh. We describe it as a pre-planned aggression against the people of Nagorno Karabakh. The Azerbaijani armed forces have targeted the towns and villages of Karabakh, the civilian population and infrastructure. The same thing happened to the villages of Armenia today.
Today, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces continued their offensive operations. It is very important to note that Turkish military instructors and officers are stationed in Azerbaijan and are directly involved in hostilities. As a result - dozens of people were killed and hundreds were injured", he said.
Pashinyan drew attention to the fact that Turkish F-16 fighter jets are also encroaching on Armenia and Artsakh.
"Turkish F-16 fighter jets are currently flying over the Nagorno-Karabakh region and are fully involved in hostilities. Turkey does not keep it a secret. Only two countries have so far said they are going to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by military means, the first being Azerbaijan and the second - Turkey. Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia are in existential danger", the RA PM said.
Pashinyan stressed that the people of Artsakh have the right to free self-determination. According to him, the whole international community should force Turkey to withdraw from this conflict, because its involvement in this conflict worsens the situation.
